This website has been set up to promote the musical works of "Andy Jones" a professional musician, who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in January 2006. Andy produced three albums while battling cancer; they explore his emotions and how he handled treatments such as chemotherapy.
Sadly Andy passed away on October 2007 having battled with cancer for 2 years. Even more tragically before Andy's passing he had to witness the loss of his youngest daughter Sian Mae Jones seven weeks before losing his fight with cancer.
Please take the time to explore his work and if you knew Andy or appreciate his music leave a comment on his Blog, which documents developments of this site and discussions about Andy and his music. The following text was written by Andy as an introduction to his work in his own words:
" My three albums; The Chemo Tapes, Easy Listenin' and Toulouse are a trilogy, documenting real events, emotions and sometimes just pure self entertainment, during a year of chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant and eventual terminal diagnosis.
I hope you take the time to explore my work. Music has been my life. This website aims to promote my material and to give people an incite into my feelings during my fight against a terminal disease.
All sales of my music will help to provide for my daughter and a percentage of the profits will go to Cure Leukaemia UK "
